He was right, but while I was in college, I hated “extra-curricular” reading. It got in the way!
Now I know how essential reading is to growing and developing.
Where else can you spend a few hours with some of the greatest minds in the world on demand?
I love to read and I am always reading (or listening to) a book. I love fiction but usually reserve it for travel. Something about a good novel on a plane ride.
Most of the time I’m reading or listening to a business or self-help book. For Entrepreneurs, these are the gateway to great impact. Learning from the Greats on how they did it and then picking and choosing what skills to take and from whom.
After all, Jimmy Buffet can’t be wrong… right?
